The Record Meter feature is used by the Property Manager to view the electricity and water usage readings entered by staff through the Yipy Staff app. This data is taken directly from the meter in each unit when staff check them in the field.

Through this feature, the Property Manager can monitor utility usage such as electricity and water in each unit more transparently, and confirm that the recorded meter data matches the actual meter. Beyond monitoring, Record Meter information can also serve as the basis for creating electricity or water bills for each unit.

With meter readings documented digitally, bill calculation becomes more accurate and transparent, and the recording errors common in manual systems become far less likely.
