Follow these steps to easily use the SOS button feature through the Yipy app.
Open the Yipy app, then select the SOS button at the bottom of the Home page.
After that, press and hold the SOS button for more than 3 seconds to send an emergency signal.
The Yipy system will send the emergency signal to all security staff currently on duty. Wait a moment until a staff member accepts the task.
Once a staff member accepts, they will head to your unit right away to provide help or follow up on the situation. Make sure you stay in your unit so the staff can find you easily and handle the situation quickly and appropriately. If the situation changes or you need to share additional information, you can also tell the staff directly when they arrive.
Important Notes!
The SOS button is only active while you are inside the residential area.
The location the staff receives for an SOS signal is the address of your unit. So even if you use the button while you are somewhere else on the property (a shared facility or public area, for example), Security staff will still be directed to your registered unit.
